I work in the web design field since 2003. I live in Czech Republic’s second largest city Brno. I use HTML5 group of standards and PHP spiced up with modern nette framework. You can see my references all around.

Academic senate of Faculty of Social Studies – Senate’s website development. a study of possible uses of social networks had been administered, though in the end not used (only the newsletter feature ended up on website).

ExecuTalk – Visual style of a professional education course for managers + website and brochure. Project cancelled because of main partner could not allocate funds.

Topfun.cz – Online app for managing everything about a chain of DVD rental services. Aim had been to streamlining all work.
Max-width – My personal comic project made in 2006. Website features really cool bitmap font brought to life in javascript.
House "Pohoda" in Vsetín – Website of local house of services.
Summer of Love – Coding and programming summer festival’s website (including ticket’s shop) and further usability optimizations (2004–2006).
Music service – Logo of a music server (redesign cancelled).

What do I do at school?
I study master in Political Science and had previously earned an bachelor degree in Media Studies and Political Science. I focus on civil society and mostly on techniques of so called deliberative democracy. Beside those, I take part in many other activities.
I have organized first Political Science Barcamp in Czech Republic on 4th June 2011. It turned out to be gorgeous.
I’m member of my Faculty’s of Social Studies Academic senate, currently serving as chairman of Students’ chamber.
Since 2007 I’ve been working in students’ magazine Halas.
In 2007–2008 I and my close friend Pavel Šíma have been working on a podcast centered around faculty – FSSpodcast.
As I try to be a good designer as much as a political scientist, I want to add these up and write a book about Visualisation of info in Political science.
Right now I’m in a middle of launch of a new and critical faculty magazine called "Servis". It should bridge the gap between students, teachers and scientists.
What’s Kari?
Kari is a web app made for tracking shared expenses. It makes it easier to avoid problems stemming from sharing costs. It calculates amounts that are spent among roommates and makes partial continuous refunds possible (and even easy).
